How Should Oral Care Be For Babies?

If your baby is constantly drooling from his jaw and suddenly wants to put everything in his mouth, he probably has his first tooth out. Although you are focused on relieving gum pain and keeping it as comfortable as possible while teething, it is also important that you start thinking about taking care of those little pearls. If a baby has teeth, these teeth can rot and rot. Children with caries in their milk teeth are more likely to have caries in their permanent teeth. That's why it's important to start your dental care routine early. It is important to know that one of the reasons why some children are more prone to caries is a bacterium called Streptococcus mutans. It is the main culprit of tooth decay because it feeds on sugar and creates acid that dissolves the protective enamel on the teeth. Babies are not born with this bacterium, but research has shown that they can get this bacterium at an early stage through the saliva of a parent or caregiver.

If you kiss a baby on the lips or share a spoon or use your mouth to clean his pacifier, this may cause a child to get Streptococcus mutans. The more caries-causing bacteria an adult has in their mouth, the more caries-causing bacteria the baby will get. Parents or other adults should not use their mouths to clean pacifiers or share food containers or a toothbrush. Eating habits can also contribute to the health of baby's teeth. Babies who fall asleep with a bottle full of milk or juice in their mouth, or with a pacifier dipped in honey or sugar, may be at risk of bottle rot. This happens when sugar collects around their teeth while they are sleeping and causes decay by feeding the Streptococcus mutans bacteria.

Antalya, though smaller than Istanbul in terms of medical tourism, is becoming increasingly popular for fertility treatments, including IVF, due to its appealing combination of medical services and its status as a major tourist destination.
